Where there exists a relationship through the adoption of a school, the GrimeStoppers may encourage their parents to become involved with some of the other needs that the village may have. In developed countries there are many children’s parents who have business’s, who may have a trade who could join together to meet a pressing demand that a village may have. This could be as simple as providing a water well or tank, the construction of a building or providing some other much needed assistance in developing sustainable business’s for the villages to operate.
There are also many organizations that the GrimeStoppers parents belong to who have the capacity and in many cases the desire to engage with their own children in an overseas initiative. The ideal place for this initiative to be fostered is through the Parents and Friends Ass in your school, Rotary Clubs, Scouts and many other associations and clubs.
